110 years ago, on April14th,1912 the worst tragedy in marine time history occurred, the sinking of the RMS  Titanic. The ship was making her maiden voyage from South Hampton, England to New York City. On April 10th, the Titanic set sail. Four days into her journey on a clear moonless calm night the ship struck an iceberg 375 miles from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Many lives were lost that fateful night some heroically and some tragically. Though we may never know what really happen that evening, the story and April 14th , 1912  will never be forgotten.
